The 2nd European Seagrass Restoration Workshop will be held in Bassin d’Arcachon from the 7th-11th April 2025.
This is the second time a European Seagrass Restoration Workshop will be held, but the first for 15 years! Our vision is to help facilitate an active and collaborative ‘European Seagrass Restoration Alliance’ by bringing together the European seagrass restoration community in one place to collaborate and engage in knowledge exchange.
Today European seagrass ecosystems are facing an accelerating human pressure at local and regional scales. Accordingly, further knowledge and innovative solutions combining novel technologies are required to secure the future of our European seagrasses in order to ensure the sustained delivery of those ecological and economic benefits associated to seagrass ecosystems.
Researchers, students and professionals actively involved in the marine environment from all over the Europe will meet in the beautiful Bassin d’Arcachon in April 2025.
