Posidonia oceanica

The Mediterranean Posidonia Network (MPN) was created following the “Anchors Away” networking event held in Athens, Greece on 21-22 November 2019. The purpose of the MPN is to convene actors from across the entire Mediterranean including scientists, local and national authorities, the EU, marine authorities, marines protected area managers, the yachting industry and nautical professionals in order to protect and restore Posidonia oceanica seagrass meadows.

Léane Chemineau works for L’Office français de la biodiversité (OFB) where she is in charge of “Coastal leisure activities” including animating the Mediterranean Posidonia Network and promoting greater marine environment awareness.
