Cymodocea nodosa

The Cymodocea Restoration Network was founded in November 2025 by Beatriz Marin Diaz from the Imedea (UIB-CSIC). The network was created following the successful in person workshop at the 2nd European Seagrass Restoration Workshop in April 2025 organised by Dr. Lázaro Marín-Guirao and Prof. Dr. Fernando Tuya.

Beatriz is currently a PostDoc at Imedea (UIC-CSIC). She was previously working at the University of Florida Center for Coastal Solutions. Her PhD research was undertaken at NIOZ Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research and University of Groningen in the Netherlands.
