The following Community Practitioners are working on seagrass associated Water Quality challenges with respect to restoration programmes in Europe:

Project Affiliation:
Laura is working with seed based Nanozostera noltii restoration methods in the Wadden Sea, and with transplant based Nanozostera noltii methods in the Wadden Sea, Veerse Meer, Grevelingenmeer and Oosterschelde, Netherlands. Laura is also working with Nanozostera noltii transplants in the Étang de Berre and in the Parc naturel marin du Bassin d’Arcachon, France.

Project Affiliation:
Bárbara is a marine ecologist and her research focuses on the ecology of intertidal seagrasses and the use of remote sensing based techniques to improve our understanding of coastal ecosystems. Bárbara has devoted much of her research to investigating the spatial and temporal dynamics and ecological functions of the seagrasses Zostera marina and Nanozostera noltii.
